Thank you - I've tried a few different media, but I'm most comfortable with black and white pencil. You'll likely find my shading with colored pencil isn't as strong. I really need to work on that...
Its funny, I'm quite the opposite, I'm better with colours than plain old pencil. But I don't really do the same shading as you, just simple gradient shapes. I just don't get how people make their shading look like.. Well things. Like faces, and bodies, and clothing, I just never know how to do that.. So I totally admire your skill for that =]

I really love the shading in your pictures.
